Venezuela announces to expel three US diplomats

CARACAS: Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has announced to expel three US diplomats allegedly involved in sabotaging the economy of the country, Dispatch News Desk reported.

Maduro made the announcement in a televised speech, saying that the Venezuelan authorities had for months followed US chargé d’affaires Kelly Keiderling and the two other diplomats identified as Elizabeth Hunderland and David Mutt, and that he had now given them 48 hours to leave the country.

The president said the US diplomats had met with the “Venezuelan far-right” to finance his opponents and “encourage actions to sabotage the power system and the economy.”
