Kyrgyz President signs enters electronic visas regime orders. Visa will force from 2014

Bishkek:    The president of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev  has signed the law introducing electronic visas, said the press service of the President office.

The electronic visa will be able to receive on the Internet for foreigners and the stateless persons, wishing to visit the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The law will come into force from the date of official publication of notification.

The member of the public supervisory board the republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs Iskender Sharsheev said in a statement that electronic entry visa will in force from Kyrgyzstan in 2014. “The understanding is now reached that the traditional way of issue of visas complicates access of foreigners to Kyrgyzstan.

It is supposed that the foreigner will be able to fill in the questionnaire on a site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and within 72 hours to be refused or inquiry approval. In case of an affirmative answer it will be able to provide the QR code received by e-mail. “All this will be in an automatic mode”, maintained Sharsheev explained.

In June of last year the parliament of Kyrgyzstan adopted the bill entering a visa-free regime for citizens of 44 countries. It is a question of representatives of the states in whom gross domestic product per capita exceeds seven thousand dollars.
