Monitoring Desk: The Kyrgyz foreign minister Erlan Abdyldaev accompanied by senior officials visiting to sign bilateral agreements of trade and cooperation, reports Dispatch News Desk news agency.

He will also meet the President of Pakistan during his stay.

According to details, his visit will be undertaken on the invitation of Advisor of Prime Minister of Pakistan for Foreign Affairs Mr. Sartaj Aziz.

Born on July 21, 1966, Erlan Abdyldaev is a career diplomat who graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1989 with his specialty in international relations. On September 6, 2012, he was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic after serving at very important assignments including as deputy foreign minister.

During his visit, the Kyrgyz foreign minister will hold delegation level talks with the advisor on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz.

The two sides will discuss bilateral relations and regional as well as international issues of mutual interest.

The visiting foreign minister will also pay courtesy call on President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The Kyrgyz foreign minister will also hold a meeting with the prime minister’s special assistant on foreign affairs Tariq Fatemi.

Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan enjoy friendly and cordial relations and are tied together under the umbrella of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The relations between the two countries were established on December 20, 1991 shortly after Kyrgyzstan became independent from the Soviet Union while diplomatic relations were formally established on May 10, 1992.
