Astana, Kazakhstan: A 60-members Eurasian Symphony Orchestra from Kazakhstan will perform in Germany and Spain to promote Kazakhstan.

The Orchestra is currently in Spain for performing 10 concerts, said Professor and Rector of the Kazakh University of Arts and founder of Eurasian Symphony Orchestra Aiman Mussakhodzhayeva.

After the Spanish concert series, the orchestra plans to visit Germany in March and perform 10 more concerts, and later visit South Korea where they played last year.

“We have concluded agreements with 46 partner universities, mainly in Europe, but we would like to reach the countries of Latin America and Asia, too. This is what we are working on now,” she concluded.

The orchestra was established in 2008 on the 10th Anniversary of Kazakh National Academy of Music. The idea of its creation belongs to Mussakhodzhayeva who was awarded the Kazakhstannyn Yenbek Yeri (Hero of Labour of Kazakhstan) medal in December 2014, one of the highest civilian awards, for her tireless efforts in the cultural enrichment of the country.
