Bhutan goes for green cars. Electric vehicles will replace biofuel cars

Bhutan has set to replace all of the nation’s cars with electric vehicles for environmental sustainability. Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay has asked car makers to produce low-cost electric vehicles for the whole country. Bhutan is known for championing gross national happiness (GNH) and environmental sustainability. The electric car plan is a “pet project” of Prime Minister Tobgay, whose democratically elected government has been in office for only three months.
