NEW DELHI: Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz will meet the Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid in New Delhi on Tuesday, Dispatch News Desk reported.

Aziz, who arrived in India on Sunday to participate in the Asia-Europe dialogue, will again push for Pakistan’s proposal of strengthening and expanding the existing border supervision mechanism to ensure peace on the Line of Control (LoC).

The volatile situation on the LoC and violations of the 2003 ceasefire agreement will be a key talking point among other issues that strain bilateral ties.

Likewise, progress on the November 26, 2008 Mumbai attacks case will be another point of discussion during the meeting between the two sides.

Aziz is also expected to meet Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today.
