Pakistan has sacrificed in fight against terror, says British High Commissioner in Pakistan Thomas Drew

 

Islamabad, Pakistan: British High Commissioner in Pakistan Thomas Drew has said that Pakistan has sacrificed in fight against terror.

He believes that Pakistan as a resilient country which has been proved in past 70 years.

In an exclusively talk with state run news agency APP, the High Commissioner said that Pakistani nation had fought war against terror very boldly and defeated the terrorism.

“Pakistan has sacrificed in fight against terror” he said adding that Pakistan has greatly contributed in restoring peace in region.

To a question, the High Commissioner said Pakistan’s future is in the hands of youth and that UK would continue cooperating and supporting Pakistan’s youth.

It is worth mentioning here that the UK High Commission has arranged a series of great debates of ‘Future Leaders of Pakistan” on future policy prospects of Pakistan and youth’s contribution in it. This debate is being arranged in back drop of “70 years of Pak-UK Relations”.

When asked how UK can support just cause of Occupied Kashmir, Drew said UK wants peaceful solution to Kashmir issue. He also stated that peace in the region is essential for economic prosperity as well as regional stability.
