17th edition of Open Central Asia is out for readers

The 17th edition of Open Central Asia is out today. The issue covers some of the real experiences of people from Central Asia and their views about challenges, opportunities and successes many Central Asian states faced and achieved during their post-Independence era.

The publication also offers a superb interview with Baroness Stern, looking at her work with Central Asia that goes beyond politics and with Kazakhstan in particular.

The interview of new ambassador for Azerbaijan, Tahir Taghizade is part of this publication. Meanwhile a fascinating piece looks at Uzbek Jewish and Muslim harmonyas a model for the Israel-Palestine conflict is also incorporated in the edition by having an interview with the creators of the Savitsky film, The Desert of Forbidden Art.
